The trawl through the vinyl pile continues. This note was tucked inside the PVC outer of a particular album. Whether it was the previous owner or the previous previous owner who wrote it I've no idea, but I like it.

And, gladly, research into matrix numbers and centre labels text and run-out grooves and catalogue numbers and such matters (the inclusion of some things, the omission of others, it's a veritable minefield of details out there in the record-collecting world at large!) reveals that it is indeed a rare first pressing from 1970. Original issue. Not mint, but a 'very good' or' excellent' at a push. I'm hoping for some decent money at least from the sale of this one.
