Crescent Moon and Venus at Sunrise

This is the sky that greeted me as I headed out to start my car this morning. While my car was warming up (probably only northerners know what that is all about), I had some time to grab the camera quick and get this shot before I left for work. Later I was thinking, that a year ago I would not have known how to get this photo. While this is not a super great shot, at least I knew to ramp up the ISO and open the aperture. Before blipfoto, this moon would have been a white streak because I would have been using a long exposure.
I have nothing else to say because all anyone around here is talking about is the weather, and I am tired of talking and writing about this cold, cold, winter!
