FLY

I am not normally thrilled by flies, but there was something about seeing my first this year that made me feel springlike, inspite of the chill wind.

I am feeling the cold these days (less padding and new medication) but haven't succumbed to a vest yet - it seems so aged.

Delighted to be back home after two days in Burnley. The new bathroom has moved on a little in our absence. Walls plastered, pipes and electrics in place, boarding on floor - so should begin to see a difference in the next two days, which is just as well, cos it's a long way downstairs for a pee in the middle of the night...
