Lindisfarne day

As mentioned yesterday - away from Edinburgh this weekend, so no training I'm afraid :-(

Spent today on Lindisfarne and had a lovely, relaxed time visiting all the sites - including the Gertrude Jekyll garden at Lindisfarne Castle ... liked this plaque on the garden wall :-)

We're staying just inland from Budle Bay, along the coast from Bamburgh ... a really beautiful part of the Northumberland coast, and a mere 90-minutes from Edinburgh.

VERY significant birthday for my better-half today - and we enjoyed every minute of it :-))
