Mr & Mrs

Early start today, a beautiful drive across the Wolds for a meeting in Welton. Decided on the way back to take lunch in Willingham Woods at Market Rasen. A beautiful spot, but quite disappointing for the wildlife. I was hoping I might get a glimpse of a Woodpecker. Saw a retreating squirrel and a few birds but nothing really to write home about. Woodpeckers are the creatures on my wish list now.

This pair of ducks is the best photograph of the day, they were on one of the ponds near the road. The females always appear to have a rather contented look on their beautiful faces don't you think?
