taking a rest from the fast flowing flooded water of the River Lambourn....

A quick walk up the road after work, showed me just how obvious the devastation of the flooding still is... See here for more pictures....

We still have water flowing from the manhole at the other end of the road and flooded houses/gardens there!

I was also horrified to see schoolchildren throw (sweetshop) rubbish and cans into the river, which could be harmful to the wildlife :( I will try to report it to the school, but of course it was after school and I'm not sure what can be done!

Another manic day!
