Photinia Flowers.

Nice sunshine today and was all set to have the afternoon behind the camera UNTIL we received some sad news about midday.
Our younger Daughter rang us up to tell us that she has lost her baby 12 weeks into the pregnancy.
In fact we did not know she was pregnant until she rang us today as she was keeping the news for us when she and her husband come down to us in two weeks time.
Our Daughter is devastated to say the least and it has knocked us all.

I did manage to take some shots of the Photinia flowers which are the first of many to come, were out already. You may remember I took some on the 17th of the new growth appearing.
I chose this shot as I feel it shows some brightness on a sad day.
