Stonechat

Well the sun showed its face today so I took the opportunity to walk part of the South Downs. I chose a circuitous route along bridleways and then along part of the South Downs Way. The area was near West Dean in Sussex.

Several different birds gave me the chance of a decent blip but I finally chose one that I hope you will like as much as I do.....this is one of several Stonechats that I followed along the South Downs Way for best part of half a mile. They managed to keep a few steps ahead of me as I did my best to creep up them. Luckily I got close enough for several shots.
