Sometime less is more ?
This little lane runs from Ellesmere Port under the motorway towards Stanlow and down what used to be the edge of Cabot Carbon, it was an American owned company. The Ellesmere plant was the first works to be built under the Marshall plan for economic recovery after the war. It was Britain's largest producer of Carbon black and closed during 2010 to cut costs by moving production to china. It all been pulled down and cleaned up since then with the odd chemical sniffer surveilance van on site.
