Whenever there is a slight rainfall, the path across the dene becomes something akin to river rapids - although today it was more like a gentle trickle waterfall. You would think the council would invest in better drainage considering the number of people who slip and fall, but no - they'd rather put that money in trying to make Newcastle look pretty in the summer...
