Bark Lighting (and safe places)
Wonderful morning for an outing as the sun was low at a slightly later hour and altho the start temperature was “bathroom heater on” it warmed up quickly and The Boss was sweatshirt off mode after a few minutes. I love this walk. There is a ton of stuff to sniff and then a huge run to catch up to the next sniff. The Boss carried his secret “Tussock come” weapon this morning which was a tin of Angus beef dog delights. I could smell them through the tin and so when called …I did. Almost (within acceptable limits) immediately in spite of some serious distractions.
The Boss hasn’t had these delights out for quite a while as he had popped them in “a safe place” and re-discovered them this morning while looking for the apricot jam. This “Safe Place” business seems to be a design fault with humans as often the place is so safe that they never find objects again. The Boss visited “X” this evening and in the course of chat, the subject of Apple TV came up. X’s wife, X++ (heh heh heh) asked what this was and the Boss described a little box that connected to your TV and before he got any further X shot up like he had had his neck licked by a Wheaten and disappeared out of the room. He returned shortly with an Apple TV new unopened box and placed it in The Boss’s hands.
“When did you get this?” The Boss asked.
And it appeared that he had purchased it some time (years) ago after a Seniornet presentation (by The Boss) and brought it home to store in a safe place.
I would have buried it in the back bark yard but I would have remembered it was there….for sure…possibly…..perhaps?
