Scorched Earth

Pretty underwhelming photo, I’d agree. But this is of the section next door, to mark the end for the repairs on the adjacent house. They tidied it up, but didn’t, sadly, level out the platform for our trampoline, as requested. Bugger.

Anyway, Scorched or bare earth, as some people will know, is a favoured approach of mine. Start again.

Sometimes the complication of the past, hinders the future. I might have a couple of days away this weekend to ponder a few things, and consider the options and paths ahead.

Time driving, time on a bike, time alone thinking, maybe with a good bit of sci-fi reading thrown in. Good spaces for me to think about what’s ahead.

Always a fascinating subject!
