If you can't beat them...

Waiting for the sunshine.

Another visit to the holiday lodge while clickychick continues with the "low season" deep clean and maintenance tasks.

First I would like to thank everybody who visited and commented on my 100/69 yesterday. I will visit journals and post thanks later.

The shot shows the bench, which also converts into a picnic table on the verandah of out holiday lodge. The roof over the verandah means that no matter which way the wind is blowing that corner is usually dry enough to sit out should you want to. Today was another of those days of bright sun and showers, but as usual not long enough for you to get the camera and get out before the rain started again. Which is why this shot shows wet boards and a dry seat.

On the recovery front I am feeling much more pleased with life today. Yesterday I was feeling a bit down as I didn't feel things were progressing at the speed I want. CC as always kept my feet on the ground and more or less convinced me I was wrong. A good nights sleep and I began to believe her.

I am moving round the house totally without the use of stick apart from on the stairs where I use one for safety (balance). Outside I take the stick and use it with varying amounts of downward pressure. The weather hasn't been conducive to trying any more long (by my current standards) walks but I am sure when I return to them I will see an improvement.
