Half full

Really just a quarter, as of course TallGirl's nearly finished new scarf has two ends. It would all have gone much quicker had I been able to find any of the numerous crochet hooks that keep disappearing round here.

Long day of training in the school admin/ accountancy software with a very amiable chap from Bordeaux. Too much info crammed into my brain, and a whole day of technical French, has me exhausted.

Some extremely sad news about a friend which we heard last night puts all this and more into the worst kind of perspective. A day of counting blessings and pondering fairness.
