It's written all over our faces

Today was a very big day for me and a group of my neighbours. The Scottish Government announced £300,000 of funding to bolster the funding from the UK Government (£255,00) and Stirling Council (£125,000) to help us to clean up our gardens which were built on the contaminated land left over from a calico printworks which went out of business over a century ago.

We've been keeping a record of our recent progress, including links to our media coverage on our Facebook page.

This morning's announcement was followed up by a second report on BBC 1's The One Show and an array of media reports on this monumental decision.

A wonderful day and the relief is written all over our faces!
