Pooh sticks

Decided to take kids out on their scooters this afternoon to a nearby park with the dog. On our way back we came across this bridge where of course a game of 'pooh sticks' had to be had.

Basically this involves dropping a stick on one side of the bridge and whosever stick first appears on the other side of the bridge is the winner. I think it's called 'pooh sticks' as it was mentioned as a sport in a Winnie the Pooh book.

Anyways, after about 30mins of this I finally got the kids to pose with Sam. I half expected when taking this photo that Sam would take off in one direction dragging either one or both of the kids with him but surprisingly he behaved himself :-)
