Open Eye

I finished off the PowerPoint slides and had a bit of time to kill, so I went to have a quick look at the new Letizia Battaglia exhibition at Open Eye. An extensive catalogue of images taken in Sicily during the height of the Mafia's influence in the '70s and '80s; murder scenes mixed in with every day vignettes of life as it goes on around the mayhem. Quite striking. I'll be doing a proper review later in the week.
