Pucara

The Argentina Air Force Pucara strike aircraft captured in the Falkland Islands at the end of the war of 1982. This image was taken at the RAF Museum, Cosford, today (25 Feb 14), but I originally took many photos of this very same aircraft when it arrived at A&AEE Boscombe Down in the autumn of 1982. I was based there at the time in my capacity of RAF photographer, and was tasked to photograph certain technical aspects of the aeroplane.
