Elsa
Friday was much dryer than Thursday and we even saw some sunshine. The kids met Mickey again after breakfast and this time got his autograph. We then went to the park and hit a fair few of the rides early, including Buzz twice. We then stood in the crowd to wait for Frontierland to open at 10am and ranwalked with the best of them to get Carys and I on Thunder Mountain. We were successful with us being on the third train round. By this point we had done most of the rides in the park with the exception of Casey Junior Railway and the Storybook boats, so we decided to do those before lunch.
Unfortunately the boats had a technical problem so we queued for the Railway, only for it to develop a technical problem as we were waiting to get on. We were about to leave the area when I noticed that the boats were being signed off as working, so we managed to hop on them just as they got going again. Then after hanging around for a little while we also got on Casey, which really wasn't worth the effort, but the kids loved it.
During a lazy and very large lunch it was decided that the boys would head back to the hotel for a nap and the girls would do their own thing. So obviously Carys's first wish was Thunder Mountain and 40mins or so later we were on again. Then we wandered towards the Princess Pavilion, now Carys had no idea what was inside, but as the wait was showing 60mins (about half the time it had been showing every other time we went past) I decided to take the plunged. Not something I really want to do again, it took us 75mins to get to the front of the queue and the building was ridiculously hot. Having said all that Carys was beaming when she met Belle and to her credit Belle had quite a long conversation with Carys before it was photo time.
Having survived that experience we meet back up with the boys and staked out our place for the parade. Much better position than on the first day. They got high fived by Donald Duck and a Toy soldier and Elsa blew William a kiss (as caught on camera in this shot). I have never seen a little boy quite so excited to be blown a kiss! Bless him he made a lot of people smile.
The rest of the day passed in a blur, we had been on every ride the children could go on or that we thought suitable (not the Haunted House as Tannier the dragon had initially freaked them out!). We were much more central for the light show and it was even better than on the first night because of this despite knowing what was going to happen.
