Still waters......
Club walk today, and we had a very pleasant coach trip to Dunkeld where we had coffee and scones before starting our walk. Walked an eight mile circular route up to Mill Dam, where I took my blip piocture, and then on through pleasant woodland to Rotmell Loch and passing Dowally Loch, just past this we turned on pleasant pathways and back down to Dunkeld.
Our weather promised some sunshine earlier on but it clouded over very quickly and we had some rain, not too much, and some nice dry spells until about a mile from Dunkeld on the homeward journey when the skies opened up on us and we had a good soaking. I was very pleased with the performance of my new Goretex jacket, as this was a real test, but I was perfectly dry under it!
Had a short break in the Royal in Dunkeld where the barmen said we were the only customers they had had all day, and served us very efficiently. A very pleasant end to the day.
Back on the coach and home in an hour and a half, good going.
