Speedy water

Finally got in the River Alyn today after waiting for the water to recede to a manageable level for what seemed like an age. A bit of boat and wetsuit action saw a good chunk of it surveyed and more importantly we managed to finish the rather evil looking weir.

There is the weir, a mill race and this narrow channel all next to each other, this is the tiny channel with high speed water.
