What a superb day of ski touring today, we saw no one else from the moment we left the ski lift. We skinned up le Truex above Leysin in sunshine and biting wind, returning 4 hours later. The views were stunning all around, we could see the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau, the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc, even down to Lake Geneva!
