"Lemon tree, very pretty..."

I'm very fond of lemons - and I still feel a frisson of excitement to find them growing in my garden. There weren't many lemon tree where I grew up!

Lemons are such generous things: they fruit and flower all year round, scenting the air with their delicious perfume. And there must be a thousand different uses for the fruit...
