The Shipping Forecast

Do you ever listen to the Shipping Forecast?. We get addicted. (for our overseas chums the BBC reports on the weather around the coast four times a day) We've just had a gale warning. This is what the edge of a Complex Low looks like.

We were on the beach this morning when the weather suddenly changed, from humid, dank and grey to rain showers rushing in from the sea. So it's time to batten down the hatches and see how it goes.

It's turning into a perfect Sunday, stove alight, serial on the radio and rain on the windows. Cosy time.
