Snowdrops after sleet drop

Very changing weather between sunny and rainy but in between there was a heavy sleet drop following strong wind in the afternoon.

Was determined to lock myself before the screen to finish my work but couldn't help worrying about the snowdrops and crocus in the park. So had a walk around after the sun returned - snowdrops were ok but crocus not. It's to do with their names, isn't it?
