Pulling Out All The Stops
We had friends over for Sunday dinner today.
One of my signature dishes is a Sunday Roast. I've not done one for ages, so I decided to go for it!
We had a roast chicken, which I butter basted and covered in smokey bacon rashers. It was cooked in a bit of lemon juice and seasoning. We had roast potatoes from dads allotment; honey and mustard glazed parsnips from marks and Spencer's and an assortment of other veg. I had a blast cooking it, and judging by the empty plates it tasted pretty good too!
A pretty good day!
