Mini irises

The weather is set to deteriorate so spring may be on hold. Nevertheless there are plenty of bulbs and blossoms that have made an appearance including these mini irises. I spent the morning doing some chores. There were only five of us at the French conversation class so we listed to extracts and talked about such varied topics as German cooking, getting stuck in the snow, how to make pain perdu with stale bread (a variant on egg bread) and the shop closures and economic problems of Perpignan including its new Dali commercial centre.
