The Meadows

Drove up to the Commonwealth pool this morning for a yoga/Pilates class (a freebie run by VOCAL for carers).
On the way I passed through the Meadows where the crocuses are in bloom and looking wonderful - especially on this sunny day. I was (unusually for me) a bit early so stopped to take a few photos - though none could do justice to the colours, and certainly no picture of mine could capture what a gloriously uplifting sight they are.

I knew I took a similar photo last year - but from the opposite side of the park.
