My husband met me after work today with a huge box containing my belated Valentine's presents, which had been stranded in a flood-induced backlog of parcels somewhere in Basingstoke for a week. Inside was an enamelware-lover's dream: a casserole dish, a roasting tin and a teapot, all in varying shades of blue. Who said kitchen items can't be romantic?!
