Blippers, memories and Kea

After breakfast a walk into Christchurch to met up with three fellow Christchurch Blippers for coffee at 10:30 am in the Ground Floor Cafe. We then walked into the city centre – a lot of memories from our visit in 2008 revisited and an appreciation of the damage caused by the earthquake – visited the cardboard Cathedral and then a bite to eat in a cafe on Regents Street. Back to the motel and then out to the Willowbank Wildlife Reserve where we eventually caught up with the elusive Kea (foto). To round the evening off we went out to Brighton and had a walk along the Pier. Finally back to the motel to have our evening meal.
