Good morning Bangkok after one of the worst journeys we've had travelling. We managed to find accommodation just off Koh San road for a reasonable price.

We decided to go exploring and ended up going to the malls of which there was about 6 in one district. In between the malls there is loads of protests going on, all of which were peaceful and not very scary. The reason for going shopping was to pick up a new laptop as we need one for job applications and found one for a reasonable price.

It has to be said at this point it's an absolute nightmare trying to get any transport as a tourist in Bangkok unless you want ripped off. The taxi drivers and tuk tuk drivers are absolute arse**les and will not use their meters and just say ridiculous prices. It really is one of the many scams that are used to rip off tourists.
