Sections 2014!

It was an amazing section meet at the Spire Institute. The facility is wonderful. We stayed overnight at a (crappy) hotel, although it was still fun as we did some shopping and went out for dinner the night before. But the hotel was old and we didn't have any hot water in the morning.

But the section meet went fairly well! The team won for the first time in 15 years, and they didn't only win….they crushed! This photo is of Kallie before she swam the 25 free and WON! For a munchkin who , only last year, was still crying at practice and seemed to hate every minute, she has become a completely different kiddo. She still would probably prefer to stay home, but she has fun at swimming, she loves all her friends there, and she swims FAST! Well - not amazingly fast - but not too shabby!

Her sister did well too, although she DQ'd in her 200 IM. She was so upset, it just broke my heart. But she did well in her other events and, as usual, had a good time with her pals.
