Went up to see Mum in Liverpool for the weekend. Spent yesterday trawling the shops in Southport [deep joy], drank lots of coffee and spent lots of money.
This morning, got up early and went to Crosby beach.
It was ear achingly cold, but walked along the Esplanade and back, dodging the runners and cyclists.
The tide was high [8.5 metres] and all that we could see of the Iron Men was the head of one which kept disappearing under the waves.
Took some photographs including a few of this guy and his mate who where landing fish at a good rate.....rather them than me.
