Liverpool

Another shared day off for Brian and I so we decided to drive to Liverpool. We were lucky with the weather as it's been a lovely, sunny day.

We had a look around the Albert Docks and had a cuppa in the Tate Café. This photo is the view from there.

We went for a drive out around the Penny Lane area. I pointed out Strawberry Field gates and John Lennon's house to Brian...he was good because he was driving and he's not a huge Beatles fan. We had our dinner in the wine bar on Penny Lane. This might not be everyone's idea of a great day but it is mine.

On the way home, we called at Brian's parent's house where his Mum fed and watered us!
