skeletal leaf

We've had a brief reprieve from all the wind and rain that we have been experiencing of late (I do appreciate we haven't had it as bad as some though!) so I took the opportunity to have a little play outside with Elliott after the usual Monday morning music group and before lunch.

I spotted this leaf which looks like it has been speared by the emerging tulip so dashed inside for my camera while Elliott was busy pushing his pram around. I was actually torn as I also had a raindrop photo I quite liked too, but I decided on this one as I thought it was a little different.
