progress

in the garden.

i returned from mum and dad's to find the in-laws working hard building the wooden playhouse they gave the kids for christmas. it's been pretty much the first dry day since then. the kids were very excited.

and some of my bulbs have finally popped through the weeds, such as this gorgeous little iris. it even inspired my to do a spot of weeding.

and dad's ok although he spent most of the time in bed when i was there. at least he was prepared for feeling this bad. hopefully it will pass soon.
