Being eaten alive

This fuchsia is heavy with flowers but the leaves are rapidly disappearing as they have become breakfast, lunch and supper to some little creepy crawly or a slippery slimy something.

One suggested solution was to leave a little bowl of beer beside the pot but given that the lovely Shiv is a bit of a lush that didn't last long.

I think I will just drink the beer and hope that the leaf chompers will give up soon.
