DDW's February 2014 Alphabet Challenge Day 24: W is for...

Whilst Porridge Wog trundled away at work today, I busied myself with all sorts of house chores. YAAAWWWWNNNNNN!!

Then out with the dogs just after the sun came out. It was glorious and I was struggling to end the walk and return for home. I was also delighted that the dogs seemed a lot less muddy than normal. Must be the nice weather drying the ground out, I thought...merrily imagining how nice it would soon be, not to have to hose the dogs down after each venture outside. In fact, the dogs looked like they may almost get away with just a toweling off today.

I was careful to change my path across the last field to take in the stream running through the old mill. Both dogs obliged and went in for a dunk, emerging clean as a whistle. Brilliant.

Then Wally Wolf (also known as idiot dog, Mr Wobbles, Wobbly Boy, PuddinyPie) faceplanted at speed into 18" of boggy, riverside mud. To be fair Sigyn probably deserved a red card for her tackle.
