Yellowhammer

Out on our usual walk this morning with the pups, camera was tucked safely inside my jacket as it was raining. Had my waterproof bright orange florescent jacket on , this is my so called camouflage gear not, its not just the dogs who scare away the birds I do a pretty good job myself so I was quite lucky that the rain eased off enough for me to take the camera out . Managed to catch this little one by getting the pups to wait whilst I slowly squelched through the mud to try and get a better view , they normally scarper but I think this is a youngster .
