Cammo Tower

A lovely morning walk at Cammo, skirting the Cammo Tower, which was originally a water tower for Cammo House now sadly burned down. After the fire, the owners gifted the remains of the house and the grounds to the National Trust for Scotland and they are now maintained by the City of Edinburgh Council.

Walk, garden tidy-up and food shopping day, which was quite satisfying. Actually, the food-shopping 'bit' also involved purchase of a new pair of shoes. Having 'come out' and admitted I'm a shoe-oholic, these black, shiny party shoes were just calling-out to me and I couldn't resist..

Now waiting to see if the leprechaun twins get voted out of X Factor..
