Bubbling Clouds Over The Allotments

On my way out this morning I notice this fantastic bubbly cloud system - and it was moving quite fast.

So a quick sprint (in the car!) up to the top of the village - fortunately in the direction I was headed - to try and capture them.

I stopped at the allotments so that I could include some foreground for scale reference. A bonus here was the orange glow at the end of the clouds, which I couldn't see from home.

The detail in the cloud, even in the RAW file was quite amazing, but I have just tweaked it a little with Topaz Detail in Photoshop.

As I was driving to York the cloud formation disappeared, so timing was lucky today
