Rainy Sunday on the Southbank
It's great to wander around the Royal Festival Hall again now it's reopened. The highlight of the day was riding up in the lift - you can see all it's workings and the wheels turning above and below the car. It's yellow, too, which helps. We travelled up to the 6th floor, read the paper while watching people with umbrellas below, then tried to travel down in the lift... but the doors wouldn't open, much to the concern of the people inside. Oh well, teething troubles are to be expected in something so new.
Went to see fine comedy in the evening at the South London Theatre while drinking tea and eating Twixes.
