Spring

I think we can say that winter was a non-event here and is now definitely gone. I left for work this morning and it was light - for the first time this year when I left the flat the street lights were out and it was bluish and not greyish.

And this afternoon as I sat in my office, the temperature got up to 29.2°C before I had the windows wide open and the temperature plummeted back to 22 after an hour...

And as I walked home in the sunshine, I thought "Time for a lighter jacket...this is too warm."

All of this in February. This time last year I had photographed icicles and all sorts of winter. Good German word to descrive this "Wahnsinn" (in English you'd pronounce that "Van-zinn").
