Posing

Reggie is from a good show stock of dogs, his dad is a multiple champion and the best veteran Airedale Dog at Crufts last year. His accolades are numerous. Jokyl Captain Scarlet

We never intend to show Reggie and he is and only ever will be a pet. There is nothing better than seeing him running amongst the heather and bilberries up on the moor and paddling in the boggy patches, he is completely and utterly at home on in and around Airedale.

However there are odd moments like today when he was stood on top of this rock on the moor waiting for Mr H and me to catch up, when his show dog breeding shows through. He really looks to be posing here, and I can almost imagine him prancing round a show ring. Seconds later he nearly caught us a pheasant, so it was a fleeting moment.
