Vertical Take Off!

A beautiful day, another of those chilly but bright ones. Heard there was a porpoise in the bay, but by the time I got all my layers on it had gone! I did manage to see the red throated diver and got some photos of it, but they weren't up to much, blurry bird on a grey sea!

Walked round the headland to see if I could spy the porpoise out at sea, but no joy. Did see some impressive waves, lots of noisy oyster catchers and little huddles of knot sitting up on the wave washed rocks.
