Spring sunshine and flowers at last

What a beautiful afternoon we were treated to here in Lancashire today.

Decided on a trip to Yarrow Country Park to shoot the wood carvings for a project I will be working on over the next few weeks.

The sunshine was beautiful and so welcome.

Whilst walking around the country park I came across a group of other photographers looking at something intently and asked what they had seen.
It turned out to be a pair of mink busy catching fish but by the time I had swapped to a longer lens the Mink had decided it was time for a lunch break, so no photos of mink today.

May well go back another day to see if I gave more luck.
