Merit ceremony

Tonight, my Thai friend took me to a Thai temple festival.
Outside, it was like a fun fair except that the money went to charity.
Meanwhile, they conducted a merit ceremony inside the temple. All thw strings link the worshippers together so that they can unite as one spirit. I had never seen this ceremony before. It is fortunate I can share it on Blip. Who knows, this may be good for my karma! :)
