Josef

In the afternoon I visited the Polish Festival at a roman-catholic church near the university.
I could taste great cake and Pierogi and met interesting people
Among them was Josef who was the barbecue chef but who also helped out at the coffee shop.
Josef was born in Lodz and came to Canada in 1984. He is proud father of 3 daughters and 3 sons. He was really hospitable and offered me a lot of Pierogis for free. Josef also told me that the Polish Community in Calgary consist of 30.000-40.000 people.

Before leaving he invited me to see traditional Polish dances on Sunday
