Loch Occasional

Between Loch Voil and Loch Lubnaig the river Balvaig flows through almost flat swampy ground in the glen floor. In the summer it looks from afar like good pasture (and attracts lots of geese and other migrating birds) but it's extremely prone to flooding to give 'loch occasional' as it's locally known. It'll be like this for a few days now before disappearing as the water moves down the system.
