Another bird in the bush
Another day of striking out on my photowalk in the park. This being Saturday and the weather being absolutely perfect, ie, warm and sunny, the park was filled to overflowing with families, dog walkers, cars, even picnickers. You would never know it was November. However...and here's the hitch...with all that human and canine activity the park natives went into hiding, all except for the squirrels. They co-exist quite happily with the human species, but the rarer species and the more timid ones do not. I couldn't find anything special to blip.
So today I am posting another bird-in-the-bush blip. This bird isn't as cute as the chubby one I blipped yesterday, but the focus is better. As I said yesterday, I thought the picture would be sharper if the focal length of the lens was shorter. The focal length of yesterday's blip was 300mm, i.e. fully extended. Today's focal length was 180mm. I had read that you will not get the sharpest pictures if you extend the lens the full length. Looks like that is true. Live and learn, Blippers, live and learn!
I hope your Saturday was as beautiful as mine and that your blipping was way more productive. Tomorrow is another day. Blippers always try, try again. See you then!
